Corvus Axiom Features See the big picture, with Corvus Axiom  Reports Manager The Report Manager is a core component of the Corvus Axiom Product. It is built from the SQL Reporting Services foundation and retains all of the flexibility and stability that the Microsoft product is renowned for. The reports are accessible in 2 ways: The primary method is through an embedded window within the application. The reports are displayed in a tree menu structured using a standard or user configured folder hierarchy. The alternative is to use the path provided as part of the standard Reporting Services installation. All reports, folders and administration options can be accessed through a standard internet browser. Report Manager standout functions include: Multiple Report Formats. Reports can be produced as either purely data driven, graphical, or a combination of both. Often these options are optional within the same report. Parameter driven output. Reports are developed with multiple parameter options relevant to the output. In other words, users have the flexibility to choose the type, range and configuration of data they want to see at the time of running the report. Data export. Report output can be exported in a number of different formats including relevant Microsoft Office formats, PDF, standard images formats and varying web formats. Data can be exported in CSV format as well to allow users to continue to analyse the data outside of the application. Report subscriptions. Need the report sent to recipients on a regular basis? Report Manager allows the configuration of email schedules which will send a report out in a required format to a distribution list. Reports can also be scheduled to be saved to shared network folders on a regular basis.

Corvus Axiom provides the user with a wealth of features to help manage and report on site data. Here are a few key areas where Axiom can be used to dramatically improve your business.


 Master Data Administration Corvus Axiom is a fully configurable system. Users have the ability to set the system up and manage the data (including source system mappings) in a way that helps them achieve their business goals. Key areas of system configuration are: Personnel - configure user details, personnel mappings for performance reporting, organisational structures, roles etc. Crew and Roster configuration - for use with Shift Logs and other forms of reporting. Location and Material configuration and mappings - align Axiom with source systems as well as build a complete picture of the site layout and key production output. Process Activities - the key building blocks of Axiom data. Process Activities can be set up as calculated activities to provide a combined result or a base activity which reflects data directly from source systems. They are utilised for reporting and can be updated to reflect data adjustments or month end sign off figures. Resources - This is the equipment configuration of the site. Configuration of Resources allows the site to setup all Trucks, Draglines, Dozers etc. on the site. Mappings - this joins all of these items together and with the source systems which completes the process of configuring a completely integrated system.
 Data Export One of the most valuable Features of Axiom is the ease with which data can be exported from the system. The data can be exported in a transactional format or summarised format. Data is received from the source system in a transactional format. This means that it is received and recorded at the very lowest granularity. It is then normally rolled up into a summarised format at a shift level - this is used for much of the reporting and screen display. Often, users require the data to be exported in order to do their own specific analysis or to be able to combine this data with information that is not included in Axiom. There are multiple ways to gain access to the data in either format: Reports - as mentioned above, standard reports can be exported in multiple formats. This includes Excel and CSV format which are common formats used by sites to analyse data Data Export - the data Export function included within the application can be used to export specific sets of data. The tool is designed to allow execution of pre-developed queries. The resulting data can then be exported as an Excel file. Database Explorer - this is a window into the actual SQL database.
